PartForge

PartForge grew out of my own electronics corner. It keeps track of every component, the projects they go into and the bill of materials for each build.

Active projects reserve stock, so you can never promise the same parts to two builds. Every stock change is recorded in an append-only ledger, and an optional AI assistant answers questions grounded in what is actually in your drawers.

API keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and the master key lives in the OS keychain. The app updates itself from signed, notarised releases.
